Why choose Donaldson

  • Donaldson safety filters perform two vital functions to secure engine longevity:
  • Backup filtration: They function as a reserve filter in case of damage or improper installation of the primary filter.
  • Maintenance protection: They strictly block contaminants from entering the clean side of the air intake system while servicing the primary filter.
  • Early alerting: They are designed to plug rapidly if contamination bypasses the primary filter, immediately alerting operators to a system issue.
  • Service interval: It is highly recommended to replace safety filters every three primary filter changes, unless a primary filter breakdown has occurred.
